If we’re more than 10 minutes late with no upfront communication, the first two hours of work are free.
Respectful and neighborly
Manners matter. We hold Local Workers to a high standard of politeness. If you feel this standard is not being met, we’ll put 2 hours of free labor towards your next job.
If you’re not satisfied with the quality of the work, we’ll come back and complete the job to a higher standard within 48 hours – or it’s free. It’s part of our Good Neighbor Promise.
In the unlikely event of damage, we will cover up to $1,000 out-of-pocket (within 7 days) or our $1 million general liability insurance policy will handle it if the damage is greater than $5000. Coverage between $1000-$5000 may be purchased separately for $50.
1. What if the job takes less time than I booked?
If Local Workers complete the job early, they will find other chores to help you with for the rest of the time you rented, such as cleaning out the garage or attic, or pulling weeds, or moving furniture or boxes, or even doing the dishes.
3. What if a Local worker gets injured on the job. Will I have to cover it?
No, Local Workers are covered by $500,000 of Occupational Accident Insurance.
2. Are Local Workers qualified to do my job?
We certify all of our Local Workers so that your experience is stress-free.
4. What if I have to cancel my job?
We understand that life is unpredictable and things happen. As long as you let us know more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, there’s no cancellation fee. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, we will have to charge you for 50% of your reserved time.
