COVID-19 Policies

Last updated Aug. 09, 2021.

As COVID continues and new variants are arising, we take your safety seriously.

We are grateful for the work of our healthcare heroes and the vaccines. Such efforts are leading to massive decreases in COVID-19 fatalities. However, some COVID-19 risks remain. Therefore, our goal is to serve you well and do our part in mitigating risks of transmission.

Here are our current COVID-19 precautionary measures. We are…

⦁ wearing masks or face coverings when close to Neighbors and/or working in confined spaces
⦁ social distancing and regularly washing our hands
⦁ requiring all workers to get tested prior to returning to work if they are feeling sick

Constant social distancing isn’t very feasible in some jobs (ex: moving). In such cases, we ask our clients and workers to maintain their distance and limit any exposure as much as possible. For outside jobs where social distancing is easily maintained, workers may remove masks for respiratory purposes at their discretion.

Please remember that all interactions with individuals always include the risk of disease. This remains true of COVID-19 as well.

What if I test positive for COVID-19 after working closely with your team?

Please give us a call at 1-844-937-7667. We will require that those who worked your job receive a negative test result prior to working more jobs.

Why use Surv during a pandemic?

Our work and services are considered essential. If you are concerned about limiting your interactions with multiple service providers (errand runs, movers, cleaners, etc.), Surv can be a one-stop-shop for you to crush your chores in a safe and healthy way.

Questions, concerns, or additional precautions?

Please let us know if there are additional ways we can make you feel safe. We will do our best to comply with any extra, reasonable precautions you’d like. Please also let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

I’m immunocompromised and not vaccinated. Is it safe for me to use Surv?

If you are immunocompromised and not vaccinated, we do not recommend working close to our team; regardless of masks or social distancing. The new Delta variant appears to be even more transmissible than original strains, testing is not 100% reliable, and even vaccinated individuals can still carry a viral load. Therefore, if you are not vaccinated and immunocompromised, we recommend not using Surv. You may also choose to provide us with clear instructions beforehand so that you do not need to be near our team.

We would love to serve you. However, all interactions will always carry some measure of risk. So, only you can assess your situation and make a decision with your individual risks in mind.
